Way to go CHE staff! It has been reported that despite having double the number of students being released from the cafeteria, the pick up process is already under the normal time for the middle of the school year. Yes they do time themselves! That was fast!
Please remember that the only safe place to drop off students is with staff at the end of the car rider line. Please do not drop of students mid parking lot or on side streets, but rather park legally and escort your student to the front doors. To review drop off & pick up procedures or to reprint a new hang tag to use during pick-up, open the following documents.

BOOK FAIR VERY APPRECIATED
Thanks so much to all who volunteered at our Spring 2016 College Hills Fall Book Fair. It was wonderful to see so many returning volunteers and welcome new ones. To those who helped set up the fair, manned a cash register or assisted shoppers with their purchases, your efforts made possible the overall success of this important school fundraiser. Offering pizza in the cafeteria on Thursday night was a huge sales boost for us resulting in $4821.24 in gross sales for that day alone.
Because of the combined generosity of College Hills parents and families, our book fair gross sales totaled $11312.81 which is $10450.63 ( after taxes). The College Hills Library earned $2612.66 which represents 25% of the net sales. We truly appreciate your support of school fundraisers like our Scholastic Book Fair. Success at this level would not be possible without reliable PTO volunteers such as you.

NEW IMPROVEMENTS IN OUTDOOR EDUCATION
The Kinder Garden continues to be a favorite place on College Hills campus for all students. We love watching their efforts blossom.
This semester, the Kiwanis and several boy scouts and cub scouts are continuing to improve the Kiwanis trail behind College Hills to make it more usable to classes. Families are invited to enjoy this opportunity to escape into nature, right in the school's bacyard! After a few minutes on the trail you'll forget that you are in the middle of Bryan/College Station.
The Community Garden for birds, bees and butterflies is now open to families to claim a small plot and plant a hardy plant of their choosing that supports our pollinators. To participate, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
